Rejuran

So Haute Skin is excited to introduce Australia’s newest injectable procedure.

Rejuran or polyneuclotides is a skin rejuvenation treatment that originated in South Korea. It involves the use of DNA fragments derived from wild salmon, which are believed to stimulate skin repair and regeneration. The key component, polyneuclotides (PN), is rich in nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA. When administered into the skin, it is thought to promote collagen production, enhance skin elasticity, and encourage tissue repair.

Experience the transformative power of Rejuran, a skincare breakthrough that activates your skin’s inherent regenerative capabilities. This innovative treatment targets various skin concerns including wrinkles, scars, enlarged pores, redness, and pigmentation, fostering a rejuvenated complexion.

By stimulating collagen secretion and restoring the ExtraCellular Matrix, Rejuran effectively combats thin and damaged skin caused by ageing. It simultaneously enhances skin elasticity, diminishing the appearance of wrinkles for a revitalised look.

Rejuran doesn’t just stop there; it significantly improves pigmentation and overall brightness, restoring the tonicity and luminosity of your skin’s texture.

What does the treatment involve?

This involves a thorough assessment of your skin, complete clinical photography, and a discussion to understand your concerns and expectations. The nurse will evaluate the need for any complementary treatments and devise a personalised plan aimed at achieving optimal, natural-looking results.

During the treatment, some discomfort may be experienced. In certain cases, a topical anaesthetic is applied before the procedure to alleviate any discomfort.

Using fine needles, the Rejuran solution, containing polynucleotides, is injected into specific areas of the skin. The number of injections and treatment sessions can vary based on individual needs.

How long do results last?

Results are dependent on maintenance treatments for long term natural outcomes.

To achieve optimal results, a recommended course of treatment typically involves a total of 4 REJURAN® sessions, spaced at two-week intervals. This treatment schedule is designed to allow for the gradual enhancement of skin texture, firmness, and overall rejuvenation, maximising the effectiveness of the procedure while ensuring skin health and safety.

A course of 4 treatments spaced 2-3 weeks apart, followed by a maintenance treatment every six months, nurtures healthy skin. This regimen ensures recovery and upkeep for a vibrant complexion.

Additional injectable treatments like anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, and specific skin treatments are advised in between REJURAN® sessions. These supplementary treatments complement your customised plan, enhancing and maximising the overall results of your skincare regimen.

What happens after my treatment?

Aftercare is very similar to a normal injectable procedure and will be explained fully after your treatment. Normal activities can generally be resumed post treatment.

Although there might be minor swelling or papules in the treated areas right after the session, these typically fade within 24 hours. You can resume your regular daily activities without any disruption.

You can ease discomfort, swelling, and bruising by applying an ice or cool compress to the treated area. Refrain from applying makeup to the treated area for at least 24 hours after the procedure. Avoid strenuous exercise during the initial 24-hour period. Additionally, refrain from touching your face or applying pressure to the treated area. For at least 2 weeks after the procedure, avoid any facial treatments such as laser sessions or peels.

Rejuran operates as an internal skin-healing process, harnessing salmon DNA. As improvements occur gradually from within, visible changes in skin texture and tone will emerge over a span of 1 to 8 weeks following the treatment.
